@Edward Indeed, the 'show menu' toggle should be saved between refreshes 
just like the pane ratios, the theme and other options that survive a 
refresh. 

I will also save the chosen 'workspace' folder and offer a 'reset 
workspace' command in the files menu to change it when needed.

I know its a bit early in the project, but the suggestions really help at 
that stage of developement, so thanks again to all who pitched-in in this

already ?*

I'm asking, because I fail to get a usable version of 'leo-web' using 
Chromium on Fedora 42 as well as Debian 13 !

That is, I can open 'leo-web.leojs' & the outline is opened - but - NO body 
content is displayed :-(

Or is it still to early in your implementation of 'leo-web' ?
