am looking for some advice for my dinner
menu.
I'm trying to save time and money and do as much
with leftovers as possible.
I made chicken and dumpling soup last night and I
want to make a chicken casserole with the leftovers.
Problem A: When I reheated my soup for lunch
it got a tad burnt. (mostly the chicken at the bottom of the
pot).
I think I read somewhere that adding a little sugar
can cut the burned taste. Any know?
Problem 2: My dumplings got ALOT mushier that
usual (I'm sure I used too much milk). That's what I get for trying
to do too many things at once. So after staining the soup off
I still have ALOT of mushy dumplingness (my new word).
Do you think adding noodles to that will be
overkill?
Any suggestions?
I have to work with ingred. I have since I have a
daycare I'm not able to run and get anything.
Thank you
Candy
