1 tsp dry mustard

2 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp vinegar

2 tbsp lemon juice

1-1/2 Cups water

1/2 Cup raisins

Mix together the brown sugar, dry mustard and cornstarch in medium saucepan.

Add the vinegar, lemon juice, water and raisins and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.

Serve over slices of boiled, fried, or baked ham.

Yields about 2 cups.

Mustard Sauce for Ham or Meat Loaf

3 eggs yolks, slightly beaten

1/2 Cup tomato juice

2 tbsp prepared mustard

1/4 Cup margarine

1/2 Cup brown sugar

Combine all in saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

Serve hot with ham or meatloaf

Buttermilk Sauce

1/2 Cup sugar

1/4 Cup buttermilk

1 tbsp light corn syrup

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 Cup margarine

1/2 tsp baking soda

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and boil for 3-4 minutes.  Cool and chill.

This is wonderful on ice cream or cake.  My favorite is spooned over apple cake.

Peanut Butter Sauce

1 Cup light corn syrup

1/4 Cup crunchy peanut butter

1/4 Cup butterscotch chips

Heat together just until melted.

Great over ice cream.
