These are some recipes from our traditional Christmas morning feast.... enjoy!
Christmas Morning Rolls
24 frozen dinner rolls
3 3/4 oz pkg non-instant butterscotch pudding mix
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Arrange frozen rolls in greased bundt pan. Sprinkle dry pudding mix over rolls. Cook butter, brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles; pour over rolls. Cover tightly with foil and let stand on counter overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 mins. Let stand 5 mins. then invert onto serving plate.
Holiday Sausage Stars
1# pkg sausage, cooked
8 oz shredded co-jack cheese
1 loaf white bread
1/2 cup mayo
using star cookie cutter; cut shapes out of bread. Lightly toast, then place on cookie sheet.
Combine sausage, cheese and mayo (can add chopped mushrooms/onions/green pepper if desired). Mix well. Place a heaping tablespoon of meat mixture onto each bread slice. Broil 3-5 mins. until cheese melts.
