I am hosting my bunko group this week.
It is a group of 12 women most of which LOVE to cook.     I'm feeling like I need to come up with some new recipes to try as I tend to make the same recipes over and over.

We generally try to have something from the four main food groups...you know

Chocolate
Salty
Sweet/Savory
Semi-heathly (ie, fruit or veggie pizza)

We don't do "meals" we just do several appitizers in which we eat enough to make a meal (or two).

If anyone has some fun/new recipes they would be willing to share, I would be your best friend!!

Thank you
Candy

Subject: [lets_get_cooking] Homemade Croutons

Homemade Croutons

6 cups cubed stale bread, 1/2 to 1 inch cubes  (7 or 8 slices).  I use homemade bread
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp paprika
dash of Lawrys Season Salt
Sprinkle of parsley flakes

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.   Place bread cubes into large bowl.    Blend remaining ingredients in a measuring cup.   Pour over bread cubes.  Toss well to coat.  Spread out on cookie sheet.    Bake 45-50 mins.  Stir several times during baking.   Cool completely.   Use in salads or soups.

enjoy!
