Excellent. > 2) Please all, enough with the attitude. I disagree here. Yes, Crosstool is serving a fine purpose at the moment. But my research has identified quite a few issues with it, some of which I've posted to the Crossgcc list about, but only to receive a luke warm response. Crosstool tries hard to be compatible with older toolchains which means it carries around considerable baggage IMHO. BTW, the Crosstool NPTL patch that you contributed now has a life of its own. This is rather unfortunate because it's based on the more complicated build method steps prior to Jim's latest changes. Someone needs to have a word in Dan Kegel's ear :-) > Howsabout we all put our differences aside and work together for a > change, many hands make light work... Couldn't agree more. In this regard, I'm pleased to report that Ryan and myself have smoked the virtual peace pipe and have put any bad blood that may have existed behind us. I hereby apologize for any bad or negative things I may have said in public about Ryan in the past. We both look forward to working cooperatively in the future in tackling some of the tough issues that confront the general build-from-source community.
