I think we should only backport the patches that we need to stop any
show stoppers.  This -fno-unit-at-a-time bug obviously is blocking the
LFS build, so this patch should be added immediately.

Otherwise, gcc-4.0.3 should be here soon.  Here's a post from one of
the maintainers from yesterday.

The 4.0.x branch is being frozen on Wednesday with an RC1 build on
Thursday.  I think we can hold out until then with the exception of
this patch and any others that are known to break the build right now.

Thoughts?  Could someone get that patch into the book?
