Is there an option in the configuration of the kernel to enable this? I've got one of the latest kernels, 2.6.18.1. I find there: General setup/ Export task/process statistics through netlink and Networking/ Networking options/ Network packet filtering/ Core Netfilter Configuration/ Do I have to enable this or do I miss something here?
Yep. You need at least CONFIG_NETFILTER_NETLINK which is in that section. Should be the first thing, I think. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
