I was just suggesting Zlib as we install it before Binutils, which suggests that it is a dependency of Binutils as it is very early in the process (actually, GCC uses it I think, being that we enable --with-system-zlib). I agree with you Ken, as LFS is about learning we should have those static libraries documented.
