Odd ya need CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DEBUG: Enable dynamic printk() support in
the kernel to fix that issue.
I don't enable that and debugfs and haven't had an issue with systemd
or sysvinit systems.
Did you change anything else other than enabling CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DEBUG?
