I talked to them (openftpd developers) on irc (#openftpd @ efnet). They said that lftp is not interpreting openftpd output correctly. One more thing: ---> PASS XXX <--- 230 ---> PWD <--- 257 "/users/piotr" is current directory. ---> CWD ~ <--- 550 file or directory not found ls: Access failed: 550 file or directory not found so 'cd ..' etc doesn't work. when i set ftp:home to "/users/piotr": <--- 230 ---> PWD <--- 257 "/users/piotr" is current directory. ---> CWD /users/piotr <--- 250 Changed directory successfully to '/users'. > > Another thing, maybe 226 should be move to 3 (ie debug 3) ? > > Usually, it's just "transfer complete", so it's not useful (which > implies 4, not 3.) It happens to give "useful" information here. I'd > hesitate to suggest an option for something this trivial, though. "transfer complete" is useful info for me (especially in queue "mode"). And lftp doesn't notices me when download/upload is finished even with -vvvv! > (Speaking of fanservice, I need to watch the Love Hina specials ...) I hear about LH again, it must be good anime :) I must watch it some day :) -- Piotrek irc: #debian.pl Mors Drosophilis melanogastribus!
