Hi. I'm trying to improve the MPEG4 video quality on low-medium bit-rate (256-400 Kbps). I'm especially interested in reducing the amount of blockiness, which the current default flags of FFMPEG product.
By using XVID for example, I see a much better result output, on same resulting file size, so these must be configuration flags that cause such quality. Has anyone succeed encoding quality results on such low bitrates, and can share from the expireince?
