I'm looking to encode real-live content ranging in: * resolution 320x240 to 800x600 * frame rate of 5-15 * bit rate of 256Kbps - 512Kbps To summarize so far, you advice to use: * gop_rate = fps * 10; * c.mb_decision=2;* -cmp 2 -subcmp 2 -flags +trell (need to find params for these) ? Do you know how these options impact the CPU and memory? I mean, any estimation how much increase it would make over the default options?
