Thank you for your response. I tried to resample the audio, and it really did the job. Still, one issue remained: along with the voice, there's a very loud permanent noise (kind of background crackles/hum). I guess, I didn't setup the resampling correctly. Here is the init call: ReSampleContext *ctx = av_audio_resample_init(1, 1, 8000, 8000, SAMPLE_FMT_S32, SAMPLE_FMT_FLT, 0, 0, 0, 0); What should I pass for the 4 last params: param filter_length, param log2_phase_count, param linear, param cutoff? I read their descriptions, but I don't realize what they should be in my case. Is zeroing them a bad idea?
