Preliminary support is great news - thanks very much! Howard knows this from IRC, but we found a few problems in the header of Leica LAS 1.3 files - it was 8 bytes short. We've reported this and have been told it'll be fixed in the next processor release. I just got an email back where they say the issue is that they've used 5 longs rather than 7 in the "Number of points by return" field. If they're correct, that might throw off later values in the header / mess up reading compliant LAS 1.3 files. We'll generate a replacement sample file when we get a fixed processor.
