Good evening, Frank!

Yawn. It's just more of the same old, same old. There have been programs for years to make sure that all men receiving government grants and loans for college are registered. So it sounds like another turn of the screw.

But like Bill said, no one wants to do it. Not the politicians, not the military, not the population. It's simply a "just in case" sort of thing.

So now, the Department of Education has also joined the 'war
effort' coraborating names and data with Selective Service. If
anything, this ought to at least be a privacy issue.

This puts a new slant on the touted 'No child left behind' act.

Kindest regards,
Frank
