The selection was moved to cell C8 using only the arrow keys. After that, range expansion and reduction were performed using Shift + arrow keys. The range is expanded or reduced with a thin selection border (without background colour), similar to autofill behaviour. Furthermore, after moving to cell E3 by mouse selection, the range expansion did not start from E3.
