Or as a member of the development team? So the change in the behavior (so long ago ':) was a bug till now? Of course, we dealt with it then (at the price of losing compactness), and I can imagine many uses of as-text-formatted numbers that would be useful to allow them to split in many lines, without the need of creating another processing-cell for them (ours was a budget form). But, maybe, the worst for me is that we are missing one more way of getting things done, which is inherently bad. Your option was disposable then, as ours, but now we've lost one.
