--- Comment #28 from ady <[email protected]> --- (In reply to gui from comment #27) > I'm in a bit of a confusion: are you talking as a particular? Or as a member > of the development team? So the change in the behavior (so long ago ':) was > a bug till now? I am a volunteer, a simple user, not a developer. As for the current behavior being a bug, you consider it to be a bug. Others might think of it an acceptable behavior, especially considering the alternatives (such as the formula I proposed in comment 24). The "middle ground" would be to consider the current behavior to have potential for improvements (but perhaps also with the potential of introducing important drawbacks in case of some mistake or some case not being considered in the code). BTW, have you actually tested LO 3.3 with this case? Or perhaps it was OOo 3.x and not LO? Have you tested any other spreadsheet tool with this case? As for the positive effects of improving the current behavior, I am aware of them (as you mentioned, compactness, especially in Forms). > Nevertheless, if, officially, this behavior is (now) the desired one, just > close the bug. I just expressed my personal opinion based on my personal experience. That does not mean that this report should be closed. OTOH, it is still relevant to actually test LO 3.3 (or at least LO 3.5), as this bug is currently reported as a regression (with the Version field set on LO 3.5, which I don't have ATM). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
