Request for Enhancement:
Under Calc menu "Edit > Select >", please add an item to "Select Array
Formula".
This is equivalent to the keyboard shortcut [CTRL]+[/], where [/] is the
division key on the numeric keypad (and, by default, it does not work with
other division [/] keys).
Reason for the request:
Not every keyboard includes a numeric keypad, and users that don't usually deal
with this kind of formulas (or that do not use keyboard shortcuts, especially
newbies) tend to forget that the division key [/] must be the one from the
numeric keypad (only). Additionally, dealing with array areas or array formulas
is one of the most frequent topics that cause problems for common users ("You
cannot change only part of an array").
FWIW, the command is:
Label: Select Array Formula
Command: .uno:SelectArrayFormula
Tooltip: Select Array Formula (Ctrl+/)
I would also like to suggest to slightly modify the tooltip and/or the
additional comment on the newly-requested menu item about the shortcut key, in
order to point out that the division key [/] is the one located on the numeric
keypad.
