Sure, I could; I even have the command included in a custom toolbar. But that's
not the only reason for the request. With that reasoning, we could get rid of
any menu item that has (or could have) a keyboard shortcut.

The command is not included in _any_ menu, and it is not included in any
toolbar (AFAICR). We have [CTRL]+[*] (also from the numeric keypad only) and
other "selections" available under the "Select" menu item. IDK why would this
specific item would be any different, or less relevant than those.

Being able to "easily" select an entire array (so as to avoid the "You cannot
change only part of an array" info message) and also not more than the relevant
area, is a key step in most actions regarding array formulas.

Discover-ability, and ease of use (in particular if the keyboard does not
include a numeric keypad) are important factors of this request. How many
newbies have a clear understanding of array formulas, and are already aware of
the default keyboard shortcut, and have a numeric keypad available? My guess is
that many users don't even know that the keyboard shortcut (or the command
itself) exists.

IMHO, it would be easier for users to climb / move through the knowledge curve
of array formulas if the "Select Array Formula" item would be present under the
"Edit > Select" menu in Calc.
