            Bug ID: 171159
Summary: Excessive height for the list of last documents
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When setting the limit of recent documents shown in File > Recent Documents to
a high value, the first entries become impossible to access, being displayed
above the screen limit.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the limit of documents to show in the list of recently opened documents
to a very high value, e. g. 100
2. Open many different documents to populate the list
3. Once the height of the list reaches about the screen height, the bug appears

Actual Results:
The top of the list is displayed outside of the screen's top border.

Expected Results:
The top of the list is displayed within the screen limits

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The list uses all available screen height even if the base window is made
smaller, probably by design, so resizing the window does nothing to help.

The issue is almost certainly due to Libre Office assuming it can just use the
entire screen height, which is incorrect. It is not allowed to draw over the
taskbar, so the real height available to it is smaller than the full screen
height.

Increasing the taskbar height pushes more elements of the top of the list out
of the screen, further supporting the link.

I am getting this issue using LO 25.8.4.2 on Linux with KDE Plasma, I don't
know if it happens with other OSes or the LO version range where the issue
occurs.
