Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #4 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #1) > Cannot reproduce. Both Alt+Shift+Left/Right change the column width to some > optimum. No, they don't.... they just increase or decrease by moving the end of the cell to the left or to the right. > Please provide STR. Indeed, I should have better elucidated what's counter intuitive. But Regina has done it for me. When you're in an RTL sheet, Alt-Shift-Left causes a cell border to move rightwards, and Alt-Shift-Right causes it to move leftwards. That's counter-intuitive. (In reply to ady from comment #3) > Currently: > _ [ALT]+[left_arrow]: "shrink" column width > _ [ALT]+[right_arrow]: "enlarge" column width yes, but also Alt+Shift+LeftArrow and Alt+Shift+RightArrow do the same thing. For me at least. Anyway - that's counter-intuitive and should be fixed. > and both: > _[ALT]+[SHIFT]+[left_arrow] > _[ALT]+[SHIFT]+[right_arrow] > > become "adjust the column to optimal width depending on selected range". Heiko also said something like that, but that's not the behavior I get. Let's ignore that point and just talk about the shrinking and enlarging because that's what my bug is about > > So the current actions are not inconsistent etc. etc. This bug is about things being counter-intuitive, not necessarily about consistency. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
