My sequence of operations is to Ctrl Click the table name and select Edit from the drop down menu. This opens the table in design mode and when I click in the field I wish to change nothing happens, no error messages nor anything else to indicate that the system has had a request. If I ctrl click the box to the left of the column and select cut then paste I am then able to change the field type but once this is saved it reverts to its non editable state. This may give me a route to change the field type but it is neither straightforward nor ideal. I still hold that this is a bug, possibly specific to the OS implementation. My experience in the past with a PC using both Microsoft Access, Open Office and Libre Office was that selecting Edit allowed changes to be made. I would like to help by getting error messages or other internal feedback but I get nothing in the way of feedback. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
