If you perform a mail merge on both .odt and .pdf files, the merged documents display and print correctly. However, the bug persists if, instead of merging, you answer NO when prompted to perform a mail merge, and prints to the printer only the document currently in the main Writer window. In this case, the entire field name is printed instead of the field value.
