--- Comment #2 from Enon Harris <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #1) > Try to launch in Safe Mode and select "Disable hardware acceleration" in the > Safe Mode dialog and click "Apply changes and restart". There should be a > Start Menu entry for launching LibreOffice in Safe Mode. As I reported, all icons including safe mode have no apparent effect. Nothing can be launched at all. I just tried launching from the command line with and without the safe mode option, same effect. I noticed that the installation directory is: C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program but there is also: C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice Maintenance Service\UpdateLogs, which has the file "4.log", a bit over 1.5MB, all entries there are from today, 2026-07-03. The tail of that file is: 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: FINISH REMOVEDIR program/python-core-3.11.15/ 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: FINISH REMOVEDIR help/media/screenshots/cui/ui/optviewpage/ 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: succeeded 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: Writing status to file: succeeded 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: calling QuitProgressUI 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: NS_main: unable to remove directory: tobedeleted, err: 41 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: NS_main: directory will be removed on OS reboot: tobedeleted 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: Running LaunchCallbackAndPostProcessApps 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: Launching Windows post update process 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: LaunchWinPostProcess failed due to failure to retrieve ExeRelPath 2026-07-03 10:39:42-0400: The post update process was not launched successfully(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #1) > Try to launch in Safe Mode and select "Disable hardware acceleration" in the > Safe Mode dialog and click "Apply changes and restart".
