            Bug ID: 173125
           Summary: FORMATTING: RTF text lacking font data pasted into LO
                    Calc is always rendered as Liberation Sans 12pt
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have an RTF text in my clipboard. It has no font data. When I paste it into
an LO Calc cell, it's always Liberation Sans 12pt, whatever the format of the
target cell is and whatever font size is set in Options → LibreOffice → Fonts →
Font Settings for … → Size.

Even when I overwrite a cell, neither the font face nor the size is preserved.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place some RTF text into the clipboard with a proper MIME type of
`text/rtf`. The data should not contain font info, e.g.,
```rtf
{\rtf1\ansi
RTF text}
```
2. Paste it into an LO Calc cell. Observe the formatting of the pasted text.
3. Change the formatting, and paste the clipboard content there again. Observe
the formatting.

Actual Results:
The pasted text is always Liberation Sans 12pt, as if the font is specified in
it.

Expected Results:
As the RTF data provides no info on the font to use, it should respect the
target formatting.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Version: 26.2.4.2 (X86_64)
Build ID: 620(Build:2)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.18; UI render: default; VCL: kf6 (cairo+wayland)
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
26.2.4-4
Calc: threaded

---

It's tricky to work with the clipboard on Wayland. I suggest using something
like
    wl-copy -t text/rtf < rtf_data
for testing, where the file contains the data I've mentioned above:
```rtf
{\rtf1\ansi
RTF text}
```
