Description:
Our design guidelines state that "A tool bar should contain only a few,
frequently used operations." and that a toolbar should be less wide than
1280px.
The current width of writer’s default toolbars is about 1500px wide (for me)
and contains many commands that are most likely only needed for particular
kinds of documents, including highly structured documents, creating drawings
and several kinds of direct formatting options.
This applies to toolbars of other applications, too.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the menu/toolbar interface of applications
Actual Results:
Toolbars are often wider than 1200px and include commands beyond a few,
frequently used operations
Expected Results:
Toolbars should be smaller than 1200px and include only a few, frequently used
operations.
Reproducible: Always
