Based on this I would suggest considering removal for these items not saying that the are not useful but suggesting they might not be "a few, frequently needed" -Main bar: -- Insert Chart -- Insert Text Box -- Insert Footnote, Insert Endnote, Insert bookmark -- Drawing functions: Line, shapes drawing toolbar toggle(a possible compromize might be having only the drawing toolbar toggle) - Formatting toolbar -- Strikethrough -- Superscript, Subscript -- Select outline format -- Increase and decrease paragraph spacing (direct formatting that might be better done in styles) This is what I would suggest to remove if I would want to bring it down to 1200px width.
