            Bug ID: 173848
Summary: Hidden data in a protected sheet can be pasted to
                    another sheet
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
In a sheet, a column is hidden and the sheet is protected by password. But
users can select a range including the hidden column, copy and then paste them
into a new sheet, the hidden column will be shown. That made "protect sheet"
to avoid users access hidden column meaningless.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Calc, input some random data in row 2 and column A, B and C
2. Hide Column B
3. Tools - Protect Sheet, protect it with a password
4. Select column A-C (which will include the hidden column B), and copy
5. Add a new sheet, and paste

Actual Results:
All the data, including the hidden column B, will be pasted into the new sheet

Expected Results:
Since the sheet is protected and column hidden, it should not allow users to
paste into a new sheet, and/or (at least) warn users

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Earliest tested version is 4.0.0

Version 4.0.0.3 (Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89)

But I think it is inherited from OOo.

Microsoft Excel has the same behavior (hence the hidden data is not protected
at all).
