Or the content of a formula and... > > I miss the use case that makes this particular selection necessary. => NAB Hi Heiko, Tables are fundamentally different fromm shapes or comments in this context: Shapes live on a separate drawing layer, and comments are separate annotations. Tables, however, exist directly within the main document body flow alongside regular text paragraphs. Core Use Case: Document editing and report writing. A very common daily workflow involves selecting a block of content—such as an intro paragraph and its accompanying summary table—to copy, cut, or move it to another document, email, or chapter. Currently, users cannot simply drag to select this combined content; they are forced into multiple copy/paste steps or altering document structure with empty lines. Standard UX Expectation: In standard word processors (like MS Word), drag selection flows naturally across paragraphs and inline tables because both belong to the same text flow. Since tables are inline content rather than floating/annotation objects, being able to drag-select across text and tables is a fundamental requirement for report editing rather than an edge case. please keep this open for UX evaluation -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
