--- Comment #12 from V Stuart Foote <vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu> --- @Charles, (In reply to comment #7) > In my opinion, an emergency new release (4.2.1.2?) should be issued whenever > something like this is encountered (in this case only for the Windows > version), otherwise lots more people will stumble into this mess until the > next release is posted. Charles, again it is a corner case. Most certainly is NOT a "CRITICAL" case. We don't even know where the document came from. And considering that it opens correctly in 4.2.0.4 and earlier, in current 4.2.2 (aka 4.2.3+ in TB42) and master, as well as in AOO and MS Office 2010 following "correction". YES...it is an issue in 4.2.1.1 release--but that is the extent of it. There was just no point in keeping the issue open as can be seen by the random postings--it is confusing. The ESC has decided there will be no 4.2.1.2 final release, the next will be 4.2.2rc and final(s) there. Period! That is why I resolved it WORKSFORME, you could have done the same because we do not know what (if anything) caused the problem--or what commit has fixed it with subsequent builds. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
