I can confidently say that you're in the vast minority (I'm quite confident to say less than 0.1%) that would ever do something like this. The question then becomes, do we complicate our code even more to make an incredibly corner case scenario "easier" for a vast minority of our users....making it harder for developers in the future to handle the code in the process. If it's already possible to do (which Markus has said how, you just don't like that method) I see no reason to complicate the code more. @Markus - if Kohei and/or Eike agree I suggest we just close the bug as WONTFIX.
