Thanks for testing the workaround.
So this bug is a duplicate of bug 50552 (still not fixed).
Bug 50552 may be a duplicate of 'Bug 43989 - After installation first launch
terminates after splash screen' (bugfix will be available in v3.5.5).
We will test it with v3.5.5rc1.
