Tested on LibO_3.6.1.1_MacOS_x86_install_en-US.dmg and
LibO_3.6.1.1_MacOS_x86_langpack_nb.dmg

Setting 31.12.1999 as the date format for a cell, and then inputting 16.8, it
is not displayed as 16.8.2012, which it did before (LibreOffice 3.5.5).

This is breaking some useful and sensible data entry compatibility, and it
should be unnecessary (since the cell's date format is known).
(I even think I remember this happened some time ago in another 3.x.0 release,
before it got fixed.)
