Thanks, Stuart and Pedro ! After cd-ing into /usr/lib/libreoffice/program and carrying out file soffice.bin. I got the following : soffice.bin: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.24, BuildID[sha1]=27493df93a63ab929c8e9776855d748b5b73ba4c, stripped Now I know !... :-) Henri
