I wholeheartedly agree, and that's why a while ago I asked the FSFE to work with Marie Moe ([0]), but I never received any response. This is something that should be done at a government-level, by the way: the only reason proprietary medical software is legal is that technology is poorly understood, it makes no sense to me that a person could either "choose" to install a killswitch or die.
