Grokipedia, intended as an alternative to Wikipedia, has debuted.
Elon Musk ordered its creation because he dislikes Wikipedia. He
claims that articles are written by Grok but there are signs of human
intervention notably in places where Musk has a stake.

Grokipedia launched: Can Elon Musk's AI-powered encyclopaedia compete
with Wikipedia?

I tried Grokipedia, the AI-powered 'anti-Wikipedia.' Here's why
neither is foolproof

Grokipedia on "Linux"
https://grokipedia.com/page/Linux

According to Wikipedia, "Linux" is an operating system. There is a
separate article for the "Linux kernel". Grokipedia's page for
"Linux" makes it clear from the beginning that it is a kernel.

Grokipedia on Netpbm
https://grokipedia.com/page/Netpbm

Among other issues, the above article gives corrupt file examples
making it useless as an explanation of the Netpbm file formats.
The file examples resemble the valid examples provided by the
Wikipedia article for Netpbm. Clearly Grokipedia is borrowing text
from Wikipedia. And it seems that Grok has trouble understanding
which sequences of ascii characters make up a file.

This means that in general, there are instances in which Grok cannot
distinguish between what an author is stating and what he is quoting.

In its current state, I can't recommend Grok or what it produces.
