Thanks for the good info.  Just one question - are you using Windows Media Player, 
Xing, or something different?  As far as CD speed, I've copied several movies over to 
my hard drive (1 or 2 at a time on my 4G drive) to see if that made any difference and 
it doesn't.

I'll try all advice this evening and see if it makes a difference.
