um I can't answer that...but you might find that the 6.4 only sees the first 
1.6G. But it would be good to try a floopy boot with the hd in and see what 
fdisk thinks (windows crash disk has everything on it you need and the bios 
will sort out the hibernation space). Let us know how big fdisk makes a 
single partition.

Be careful not to make it too thick or the ram chips get bent off and it's a 
bugger of a job to glue them back on :(

Danger Will Robinson...if you don't leave that unformatted bit, sooner of 
later a file will get trashed on hibernation. Simply leaving hibernation off 
doesn't work cos it still hibernates on overheat.

I'm keen to know where you got the adaptor...I had to go to 45thSt New York 
for mine, and it's a long way to go back to get another...

erm so basically, until we ring you up to confim that this is what you meant 
(as opposed to what you wrote) Leeds City Council is denying all knowledge
