Subject: Vertical Lines in screen
That is caused usually by a loose connection between the actual "glass" gold
traces on the display itself and the film cobnnector going 180 deg to the
back of the display electronics. You could fix this by pressing in specific
places pieces of paper to press the inglued traces, but it will eventually
fail. I could never fix something like this properly. It is a pity to have
to get another LCD screen just for that, but...
