As far as I know (think) the bios battery  is inside the unit(obviously) but
its hartd to see......its actually 2 watch batteries packed in like a green
taped bag sort of.....know what I  mean?....anyways.....its just to the
right of the processor and its slides between the motherboard and the
casing.  good luck.....u should be able to unplug it for 5 minutes and
re-plug it in....also , my 70 has a reset button on the right side next to
the pcmcia slot....maybe this button is also on the 50 and will allow you to
reset the bios.....just a guess....
