Yeas... both 0 KB and blank in MSCONFIG and Notepad

As I wrote, I did that for the entire C\Windows directory and 
sun-directories.  No reference to 'panning' in any files of consequence (see 
my post on the files found)

Both my 50CT and 70CT are like this.
