It's not that bad, nothing like the Barbie Mac notebook in person. (hmmm...
I may retract that... see below)

My comparison of the Sony would be more towards a '67 Lamborghini Miura, '63
E-Jag, or my old '72 TVR Vixen... but I can see the square/round stylistic
comparison.

Heh... you'd love getting in and out of it in huge downpours with the time
it takes those gull wing doors to open and close!

Which reminds me of a makeover we were thinking of... who was it who was
looking into seeing if the MB for these old models could be made to accept
more than 32MB RAM... and if more RAM could be put on the existing cards?

Wow... it looks HUGE under that model's arm... though the girl is doing an
admirable job of competing with the L2 for attention. What nerds we be ;-P
I do love these old 70CT and below models!

Actually Dynamism has a number of shots at:
http://www.dynamism.com/libretto/gallery.shtml
>Sony PictureBook (they seem to have removed most of the pictures that they
>did have though) http://www.sonystyle.com/vaio/picturebook/index.shtml
I had problems with MSIE 4.72 not being able to execute the javascript
necessary to pop up the window for "Demo' there where the one picture is. I
had to use Netscape.
Found a lot of shots here:

... But man... That top shot from the rear showing that ugly blue strip
across the back killed it for me! Kind of childish of me... reminiscent of
when I saw my 5th grade girlfriend at home with a cold in her PJs sniffling
and blowing her nose. We are a silly lot ay?
I still like the rest of the lines though. I got awfully tired of all of
the boxy car designs that dominated the corporate downsizing of the 70s and
80s.
