Heh... yeah... It's quite informative. I live in an area where there are no
strait roads at all... unusual for suburban sprawl in the USA. But I
noticed a few places where the road came to a Y, the signs were not very
visable, and SA had no suggestions for which branch to take. But it's so
easy to see when you've strayed from the marked route. I see where it is
set to notify you when you stray a set distance from the route too.

I didn't think about that, but you're right. It was a typical not-to-bright
winter day there other day here in Florida. So I could see the screen
pretty well. But in the summer, if it's like California, it's impossible to
see the screen most times in the day. I just thougt I might just as well
turn the screen off, and tap the keyboard to get the directions spoken. I'd
have to pull over, and put my head in some NFL style monitor blinder box to
be able to review the play playback.

I would agree, and your question leads me to a solution I intend to use
myself!

That sounds good. When I installed W98 recently, I clicked off the
selection to install screensavers. That file must have been in that group
of installation options, as it's not on my system now. I'll go offline and
see if I can install it. Good suggestion Pres!

Heh... That IS doable... but might be a bit touch driving a car!

Thanksfor the tips Pres.

Matt
