What exactly IS the power adapter, is it just a modified AC adapter like the one that comes with the libretto or is it something else? How big is it? (the picture on the Toshiba website doesn't look anything like the picture in the L50 manual but it could be from a different angle) ... It's a GREAT deal if it can be bought at that price now... Basically, it takes 110v ( or your local mains... can't remember if there's a switch or auto-switch ) and accepts a L20-30-50-60-70 battery directly. There's a physical adapter to plug in the L1x0 battery. It has 3 LEDs indicating charge status. It ALSO has a 15v output and a cord to plug into the L20-30-50-60-70 ( NOT the L1x0 ) where the usual A/C adapter goes. Why? Because the units of L60 ( ? ) and lower would NOT charge while operating the unit. So, if you have either a spare battery to charge above and beyond the one in the computer, OR if you want to operate while charging, you need this. It's rectangular and boring looking, about as wide as a Libretto because the battery fits into it along the side. Toshiba Grey, non-clearcoat metallic, drab.
