I use Exact Audio Copy ( http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ ).  It's free, it 
allows you to choose a balance between speed and accuracy of extraction, 
it's free, it supports CDDB, supports both MP3 and Ogg Vorbis, and it's free.

You'll also need a copy of Lame 3.91, which you can find all over the net.

Did I mention that EAC is free?  <grin>
