Bleh ... *sigh* thats what happens when you answer emails at 3am in the 
morning when you get up to get a drink ... ya its wired up incorrectly, the 
keyboard cable should carry pin 1 and the mouse cable should carry pin 2 
(to pin 1) ... missed that ... heh
