It is possible that the server has filtered out certain extensions (on the 
premise that even if someone renamed an executable to what would otherwise 
be a 'safe' extension the email client won't be able to execute it without 
it being consciously renamed again) ...

To that end, I've attached the filey "xcopy.exe" from my c:\windows\command 
directory (simply because it's the first small executable I thought of, 
don't worry it isn't infected unless it managed to fool my version of NAV 
that I updated yesterday) ... if it gets through then we can assume its not 
been set to filter executable attachments ...
