Just a time limit. All other features appear to work fine.

Basically, nice because they took the entire mess of tiny drivers in prior
versions of DOS PCMCIA enablers and drivers and packed it up into just a
handful.

Saw my 2GB Toshiba PCMCIA HD right away, so that was nice vs. having to mess
with the configuration of older versions.

I'm still playing around with all of them to see which is the best for me, but
I'm leaning towards UNATA because it's very small and can be unloaded from the
command line, while being the easiest to use.

I don't know of USB DOS support - heard FreeDOS was attempting to incorporate
it in, but it's a work in progress with nothing ready to use yet AFIK. Suppose
you'll just have to download the demo and try.

Haven't tried loading anything into extended memory yet, just playing with
them. But for sure, the older versions could be as they had a file that got
loaded in config.sys to allow the rest to load high.

In the end, it's too bad the rest of the world left DOS behind for many years
when they migrated to GUI OSs. It really makes a lot of perfectly good
equipment obsolete for no better reason, but thankfully, movements like FreeDOS
are incorporating the latest features in a small, svelte OS.

Hmmm... maybe I'll have to see if I can get my Libretto to run WP and Arachne
under dos when I get the time....
